Katrina Yu completed a journalism degree in 2008, then embarked on a masters degree in London.

Following her stint abroad, the Bahrain-born Filipino-Chinese Australian was, this year, awarded a cadetship with the SBS News and Current Affairs team.

In this interview, Yu talks about her cadetship at SBS and why she decided to apply for the position with the public broadcaster.
