Speaker TV looking for person 'passionate about music, visual arts, culture, politics, science or anything in between'

Online publisher Speaker TV are currently on the lookout for an intern to write a variety of features, creative pieces and news segments with guidance from the team at the Armadale office.

The chosen candidate would be required to work one eight-hour day a week where, along with their duties, they will receive coaching and feedback from senior staff, access to events and critical industry experience.

Speaker TV are looking for the below qualities from its interns:

  • Passionate and well-rounded opinions about popular culture, politics music and arts;
  • Ability to write to a deadline and communicate in a team environment;
  • Openness and curiosity in global affairs, the arts, politics and local/international music.
  • Ability to creatively approach tasks with enthusiasm

There is large scope for someone with knowledge of Melbourne’s local music and arts scene to thrive as Speaker TV primarily produces this content to their thousands of national and international viewers each month.

This role will suit university students, aged 18-26, studying in a related field, as it can be accredited to any relevant subject.
