Campaign Conversations: Here we go

The 2012 US presidential election campaign is underway. Eric George speaks with upstart's US correspondent Liam Quinn in the first of our weekly podcasts.

Mitt Romney was finally officially named as the Republican candidate last week, kick-starting the race to November 6, when Americans will go to the polls.

Over the next couple of months, upstart will be covering the election campaign with our own US correspondent, Liam Quinn, who is currently on exchange at Michigan State University.

In this podcast, Liam speaks with fellow La Trobe University journalism student, Eric George, about: the Republican National Convention, the controversial ‘You didn’t build that debate‘ line,  and of course, the now infamous Clint Eastwood chat with the invisible Obama.
