Triple J’s Hottest 100 – 20 years on

In a former life I was fortunate enough to work for nine years at  Triple J, where my remit included interrogating listeners about their favourite songs of all time. Somehow the quest continues.  And in what might be described as the spirit of Australian democracy, it turns out that voting remains compulsory.  So after a ruthless and entirely arbitrary cull of accumulated enthusiasms, here  is my 2009  Top Ten, along with a link to my recent Take 5 with Zan, where we revisited some of the big ticket items of 1989.
