Here at upstart we're very pleased to welcome Tom Cowie as our summer editor. Tom takes over the reigns from Erdem Koc, who has just completed his Law/Media degree and a successful stint as this publication's inaugural editor.
Tom and Erdem recently completed a student  journalism study tour of Kuwait with fellow upstart contributor Kelly Theobald. As well as his articles for upstart, Tom's work has been run in Online Opinion, and he also publishes his own blog, stop making sense.
Tom will be holding the fort until the beginning of first semester in 2010. To submit story ideas, comments, suggestions, or even mild forms of encouragement, please go to our contact page.
