The position is part of the South Australian News operation, which is fully integrated for radio, television and online.
The successful applicant will be a demonstrated self-starter, able to work alone and in a team environment.
They will report for, produce and present regional radio news bulletins and be able to file for the state and national radio, television and online news networks.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate research, reporting and writing skills for broadcast news, as well as recent broadcast field reporting experience.
The position requires presentation skills for live and pre-recorded radio and television, as well as good knowledge of the local demographic.
A driver’s licence and a commitment to the ABC’s aims, values and workplace policies are also essential.
