The dynamic communications team of Banyule City Council are looking for a skilled, passionate and experienced media and marketing communications officer to join them on a permanent full-time basis.
In this role you will provide practical and skilful support, and advice to the organisation on a range of key communications projects within the media, public relations and marketing area.
Banyule is looking for someone enthusiast and professional who is willing to collaborate with the team and bring new ideas to the table. You’ll have great interpersonal skills, political awareness and a radar for a good story or media opportunity.
You should have experience in all facets of media management, strong working knowledge of marketing communications and experience in developing and implementing effective communication strategies.
The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of communications for Banyule including overseeing our website and social media channels, producing publications and overseeing public relations, marketing and advertising opportunities.
