Behind the lace curtain

Anette Bråthen Moen tells the story of Vesper White, a Melbourne burlesque artist, in photographic form.

Studying Photojournalism at La Trobe University, on exchange from Norway, Anette developed a fascination for photographing remarkable people in their ordinary setting.

Inspired by the dedication and hard work Vesper put into her magical scene shows Anette felt compelled to share the artist’s story through photography.

Anette describes her two years spent in Melbourne as a life changing experience and telling Vesper’s story cemented her passion for photography.
