This August, the Indian Film Festival came to Melbourne, and Indian communities at La Trobe University’s Bundoora campus celebrated 79 years of Indian independence.

The Upstart team was invited to the Indian Film Festival Conference, where Indian film stars addressed a bustling room of journalists and reporters. Meanwhile, India’s 79th Independence Day brought dance, culture and food to La Trobe University’s Bundoora campus.
