Editorial internship at The Conversation

The editorial internship is designed to provide interns with practical experience and the opportunity to actively contribute to The Conversation’s newsroom.

The internship runs for a period of 2 days per week (negotiable) for a period up to 3 months. The role is unsalaried, however, interns will be paid $15.00 per day to cover lunch and travel expenses.

Editorial interns will be exposed to, and participate in, a wide range of newsroom activities. Interns will be responsible for pitching ideas and developing news leads, commissioning articles, sub-editing, as well as a range of other tasks.

Internships are located at The Conversation’s newsroom in Melbourne.
