Working as a member of a small team, the successful applicant will have the opportunity cover everything that happens in the region for the local audience.
The role requires the journalist to be available on the spot for breaking news, cover community events and ceremonies, and write profiles and features.
Building strong contacts, developing unique stories, taking pictures, and writing quickly and accurately are also areas of focus for the role.
