Forum event: Integrity in the Australian Media

A forum event featuring Robert Manne and David McKnight is being held by the Australian Fabians, discussing the need for vigilance in the pursuit of a heathy democracy.

 

‘Australian Media – the Question of Integrity’

 

Coinciding with the recent release of his book on Rupert Murdoch, David McKnight will discuss the importance of integrity in the Australian media and ‘the need for vigilance in the pursuit of a healthy democracy’ on Wednesday 8 February 2012.

The senior research fellow at the Journalism and Media Research Centre, University of NSW, will be joined by Robert Manne, professor of politics at La Trobe University.

The event will run from 6pm to 7.30pm at the Melbourne City Conference Centre, 333 Swanston Street.

 

This event is organised by the Australian Fabians. The cost is $5 for members or students; $10 for non-members.
