Free documentary filmmaking training

Do you have a passion for filmmaking or a story to tell? Channel 31 is looking for students to make short documentaries for them.

Channel 31 is on the search for 15 young people (aged 16-25) of diverse faiths and cultures with a passion for filmmaking and storytelling.

The project is called ‘Working Title’ and provides 12 weekly sessions on the fundamentals of documentary filmmaking, a chance to meet industry professionals as well as the opportunity to make documentaries to be aired on Channel 31.

This is a great opportunity for students with great ideas and willingness to work in a team. You must offer at least four hours of work each week, possibly more.

To apply, please download a registration form here and email it to vessal.safaei@c31.org.au by July 1 2012.

For more information, and to view last year’s Working Title episode, please see their website.
