The Matildas broke records in the 2023 Women’s FIFA World Cup, with off-the-charts crowd attendance and viewing figures.

A couple of months prior, a brand new, woman-catered football facility was built on La Trobe University’s Bundoora campus. The facility has acted as a ground for helping foster the exponential growth in women’s football over the past 18 months.

The Ag reported how this facility has aided the growth of the game in Australia.
