The Melbourne Writers Festival is currently advertising for interns to join their team.
There are seven unpaid internship positions available, including roles in marketing, fundraising, research and program administration.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to obtain course credits, be involved in diverse project work, develop new skills and attend selected festival events free of charge. They will receive on-the-job training and a reference upon completion.

The festival is also seeking a Marketing Assistant to begin work next month. This paid position involves providing support to the MWF marketing function by assisting in the delivery of print and online communications.

The Melbourne Writers Festival runs from 25 August to 4 September 2011, but organisers are looking for interns to begin work from as early as April.
