The National Gallery of Victoria is now accepting applications from third-year media, journalism and public relations students for an internship in its Media and Public Affairs Department for the month of March 2012.
The intern will assist with the implementation of the PR campaign for the Top Arts 2012 exhibition.
Key tasks will include:
-Identify each exhibiting students’ local newspaper/s and contact the publication about the exhibition
-Assist with the dissemination of images and information to regional and suburban publications
-Facilitate with writing material for the Top Arts 2012 media kit
-Work with the Media and Public Affairs team and NGV curators to coordinate the Top Arts 2012 media preview and opening night
-Contribute to the Top Arts section of the NGV website.
-Assist with general administrative tasks
-Support the media team with the promotion of other NGV exhibitions.
