The enthusiastic and experienced communications officer will work at the National Rugby League Papua New Guinea head office in Port Moresby.

The successful applicant’s main responsibility is to generate media and communication activity for the League Bilong Laif program. The program is aimed at improving the quality of education for boys and girls in PNG through rugby league related activities.

Applicants should have knowledge and experience in journalism or media and communications, relevant qualifications and the ability to work in a team. Essential skills include writing, media liaison, communication for development, social media and photography.

Video production skills and experience in a sport or development program would also be desirable.
