The Southern Farmer is seeking a part-time journalist to write and coordinate general and feature stories from their Surrey Hills office in Melbourne.

This rural monthly newspaper covers areas in Southern Central Victoria and forms part of the Farmer Group of newspapers. It is produced by independent publisher North East Newspapers.

Newsroom and photographic experience is required, and a genuine interest or knowledge in farming and rural Victoria would also be an advantage.

The successful applicant will work three days per week.
