Guardian Australia is seeking two new employees to join their busy newsroom.

The environmental reporter will be required to provide comprehensive coverage of Australian environmental news, with a focus on government action and policy, as well as industry and technology.

The successful candidate will be required to generate original stories and incorporate visual mediums and social media.

The culture editor will be expected to generate daily news, comment and multimedia ideas across the Australian culture agenda.

You will be working in the Sydney office and be expected to commission work, as well as producing your own.

The roles are full-time and offered on a 12-month contract basis. It will include early starts and late finishes.
