Opportunities for journalism graduates are now available at SBS for its 2015 cadetship program based in Sydney.
The News and Current Affairs division is offering two, 12 month cadetships to those wanting to build journalism careers in broadcast and online media.
The successful candidates will have completed tertiary qualifications in journalism or equivalent and ideally have experience in television, radio and/or online reporting or production.
A knowledge of current affairs both in Australia and abroad is preferred, as well as determination, initiative and curiosity. Applicants will also need to be able to generate story ideas regularly.
It is also required that you are familiar with SBS’s News and Current Affairs programming.
The ability to speak a second language and/or have experience of another culture(s) is also desirable.
