Culturally Diverse Youth on Air is an initiative that gives young Victorians from different backgrounds the chance to develop radio skills and gain multimedia experience.

The program is run in partnership with the National Ethnic Multicultural Broadcasters Council and is funded by the Victorian Multicultural Commission.

Applicants must be under the age of 26 and be available to undergo radio training at the SYN studio on Sunday 5 April and Sunday 12 April.

Successful applicants will join a weekly Saturday afternoon radio program starting on 18 April.

Applications close at 5 pm on Friday 27 March 2015.

Apart from this initiative, there are other ways of getting involved with SYN Media. They are always in need of volunteers.

SYN Media runs radio and television courses for anyone between the ages of 12 and 26 who wishes to become a part of their team. These courses do not require any previous experience with radio or TV.
