The Conversation editorial internship opportunity

Looking for an editorial internship at a well-known media organisation? This may be the job for you. The Conversation is searching for a student or recent graduate to contribute to a range of editorial activities which include contributing to social media, researching, writing headlines, sub-editing, pitching ideas and commissioning articles, among other responsibilities.

Interns need to demonstrate qualities such as excellent writing and editing skills, organisational skills, as well as understanding of the news and a positive attitude.

Does this sound like the job for you? It gets even better. Interns will be paid $15.00 a day, to cover lunch and transportation expenses.

Applications are open only to students, or recent graduates, of The Conversation’s partner and member organisations. These are: CSIRO, University of Melbourne, Monash University, RMIT University, University of Technology Sydney, University of Western Australia, Victoria University, Deakin University, La Trobe University, Murdoch University, Queensland University of Technology, Swinburne University, University of South Australia, Flinders University and Univeristy of Tasmania.
