After almost five years on Radio SYN 90.7 FM, The Naughty Rude Show has finally made the move to television. Combining elements of lifestyle programs and sketch comedy, the first few episodes see the under-26 cast and crew tackle speed dating, drugs, pole dancing, gay bath houses, S&M dungeons, interviews with an asexual, sex addicts and regular segments such as women’s health for men. And that’s not all.
The program, which now airs on Channel 31 on 10.30 on Monday nights, features some students from Latrobe University. The show’s executive producer is Tim Brown, a student at Latrobe. Dylan Leach, a first-year Latrobe student, is presenting a segment called ‘Dylan Does Dating’ where he goes on a journey to learn the dos and don’ts of the dating and relationship scene.
In the first installment of the segment he takes one of the presenters of the Naughty Rude Show and former Latrobe student Jackie Doran on one of the worst dates imaginable, which includes walking around the city aimlessly, taking the tram instead of the taxi, and ending up eating dinner at McDonalds – and making her pay for it.
As a result, Dylan goes on a quest to learn the ways of the dating scene to learn from his mistakes. In the next installments of Dylan Does Dating, Dylan interviews a professional dating coach, signs up to online dating websites, goes speed dating and has a slumber party.
The Naughty Rude Show can be seen on Monday Nights at 10.30 on Channel 31 or can be viewed online here.
