Just how are we going to feed everyone in 2050? This is a question that’s plaguing not only politicians, but agri-businesses, academics and of course farmers.

The seminal Ideas & Society discussion will tease out some of the issues of our increasing population.

Chaired by Tim Costello, the panel offers a spectrum of views – including Snow Barlow, Foundation Professor of Horticulture and Viticulture at the University of Melbourne, Philip Keane, Reader and Associate Professor at La Trobe University Department of Botany, and Elizabeth Finkel, Associate Editor at Cosmos Magazine and Vice-Chancellor’s Fellow at La Trobe University.

More details about the panelists and the event can be found here.
