Communications Project Officer
Location: Melbourne
Time commitment: 8-12 hours per week
Reporting to: Victorian Communications Supervisor
Length of Engagement: Project runs for 10 weeks (concludes 17th of June)
Key responsibilities:
• Contacting schools and engaging with school-aged students through Left Right Think-Tank presentations
• Promoting the upcoming conference by engaging with our key demographic and the community
• Supporting the Communications Supervisor in their role and duties
Training and learning opportunities:
• In-house training
• Ongoing support from the State Communications and Events Manager
• Opportunity to develop relationships with professional mentors
The ultimate candidate should…
• Have experience in communications or marketing
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Be able to meet a time commitment of 8-12 hours per week

Audio-Visual Communications Officer
Location: Melbourne
Time commitment: 8-12 hours per week
Reporting to: Victorian Communications Supervisor

• Creating and distributing a promotional slideshow and promotional video for the conference
• Managing all visual communications, imagery, and design for the conference
• Working within the constraints of Left Right Think-Tank’s in-house style guide

• Ongoing support from the State Communications and Events Manager
• Opportunity to develop relationships with professional mentors
The ultimate candidate should…
• Have experience in communications or marketing
• Have experience with video design and editing
• Be able to meet a time commitment of 8-12 hours per week

Media Relations Project Officer
Location: Melbourne
Time commitment: 8-12 hours per week
Reporting to: Victorian Communications Supervisor

Key responsibilities:
• Writing press releases
• Building and maintaining a media contact list
• Promoting the Left Right Think-Tank brand, and our upcoming conference
• Managing Left Right Think-Tank’s mass media presence, promotional photos, etc.

• Ongoing support from the State Communications and Events Manager
• Opportunity to develop relationships with professional mentors
