Welcome to ‘The Ag’ – Episode 1

In our first episode of the year, we look at unpaid placements, LTU's small businesses, and the Bundoora campus solar farm.

In our first episode of The Ag, presented by our hosts Ava Stone and Jaimon Macmullan, our reporters cover the top stories in the La Trobe University community and beyond. We look at how unpaid placements affect students and the steps that may lead them to become a thing of the past.

We also covered the cost of living crisis and how it affects small businesses on the Bundoora campus as they try to keep costs low for students. We also spoke to La Trobe’s students and staff about the largest new solar farm built in Victoria.

On this week’s Jaimo and Ferg show, they tried out Taekwondo with the Taekwondo Club.

The week’s latest news was presented by Ari Stamatakos. Reporting for sports was Ferguson Hickey.
