5 March 2013

WorldMUN is the world’s largest student-led youth conference where more than 2000 like-minded student delegates from over 80 countries simulate the UN and confront pressing international issues, drafting resolutions to trigger innovative change and creating unbreakable bonds across continents in the process, therein shaping our future leaders.

Initiated by Harvard University, WorldMUN has travelled to 21 different cities over the span of 21 years, and for the first time is coming to Australia – it will be held in Melbourne from 18 – 22 March this year at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The WorldMUN Office of Communications and Marketing is now recruiting Student Journalists to observe and document the monumental conference. All WorldMUN Student Journalists will receive complete access to the events, including committee rooms, free of charge. In attending both the opening and closing ceremonies, accepted applicants will be amongst prominent and well-known senior figures from the Australian worldmunGovernment, United Nations, as well as NGOs.
