The game changer?

La Trobe University’s Media and Communications program, in conjunction with the Alumni and Advancement Office, is holding a public seminar titled: “The game changer: was social media an election battleground in #ausvotes?”

The event will feature keynote speaker Mark Di Stefano, the political editor of Buzzfeed Australia, whose new book, What a Time to be Alive, is a diary of the 2016 federal election campaign.

Mark will be joined by La Trobe University alumnus Tom Cowie, a crime reporter for The Age, as well as Jess Gregory, a policy and communications officer at Domestic Violence Victoria.

The event will be held at the Village Roadshow Theatrette at the State Library of Victoria.
