Guy Sebastian’s new album – T.R.U.T.H.

Australian singer and songwriter Guy Sebastian has just dropped his latest album titled, T.R.U.T.H. The heartfelt and raw album consists of 12 songs that Sebastian has been working on for years. Upon its release, Sebastian revealed that the album highlights the things he’s been through in his life as well as his truths. You can listen to it now on Spotify. 

 

Justin Bieber’s new single, Lonely. 

Justin Bieber has teamed up with record producer and DJ, Benny Blanco in his latest single, Lonely. In the second song for his upcoming album, Bieber also worked with Billie Eilish’s brother and famous producer, Finneas. It drops today at 2pm on Youtube, find out more here.

Are you a lover of Rock anthems? Then you’ll love American musician Machine Gun Kelly new album, Tickets to My Downfall. The fifth studio album is a pop-punk one that may a bit more light-hearted than usual but is great for rocking out to. You can listen to it on Spotify or Youtube.

Looking for something creepy to watch this weekend? Then this American horror film based on the novel by H. G. Wells is perfect for you! When Cecilia’s (Elisabeth Moss) ex not only takes his own life but leaves her his fortune, she begins to question his death. Snow White and the Huntsman, Friday the 16th of October.

This 2012 fantasy film tells a compelling version of the classic film Snow White. Starring Kisten Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron it follows the Huntsman who’s ordered to kill Snow White but instead becomes her protector and mentor as she tries to vanquish the Evil Queen. Port Adelaide vs Richmond, Friday the 16th of October. 

In a battle for a spot in the Grand Final, the Tigers will face the Power at Adelaide Oval. Hoping to make their first Grand Final since 2007, Port Adelaide will be determined to beat the mighty Tigers. It all starts at 7:30pm on Channel Seven.

Monsters Vs Aliens, Saturday the 17th of October.

Looking for something for the whole family to watch this weekend? Then look no further than the adventure animation, Monsters Vs Aliens. After being transformed into a giant by a meteorite on her wedding day, Susan (Reese Witherspoon) teams up with a group of monsters to defeat an alien mastermind trying to take over the world. Brisbane vs Geelong, Saturday the 17th of October.

After their dominant win against Collingwood last week, the mighty Cats must face the soaring Brisbane Lions to advance into the grand final for 2020. Who will win? Find out at 7pm on Channel Seven.

21 Jump Street, Saturday the 17th of October.

Looking for something funny to watch this weekend? Then you might like the reimagined classic 21 Jump Street! The action, crime comedy stars Channel Tatum and Jonah Hill, two cops who go back to high school to bring down a synthetic drug ring. Check out the trailer here or watch it on channel 9Go at 8:45pm.

Julie & Julia, Saturday the 17th of October. 

This inspiration comedy-drama film starring Meryl Streep, Amy Adams and Stanley Tucci, tells the story of Julia Child who’s starting her cooking career. She takes on the challenge from blogger Julie Powell to cook all the recipes in Child’s first book. It’s a must-watch! Check out the trailer here or stream it on channel 10 at 10pm.

2020 AFL Brownlow Medal, Sunday the 18th of October.

Need more AFL context this weekend? Although the AFL’s night of nights will take place virtually this year, it’s still worth a watch! Brisbane’s Lachie Neale is tipped to take out the win but you can find out for certain on Channel Seven at 7pm!

Aquaman, Sunday the 18th of October.

Are you a DC fan or just love superhero films? Then you’ll love the 2018 action fantasy, Aquaman. Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) is the rightful heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, who must go on a quest to prevent a war between the two worlds, ocean and land.
