News Aplenty is a news program presented by La Trobe University media students. The panel includes news presenters, Bailey Zimmerman and Samantha Smith, and sports news commentator, Charlie Roberts.

This week’s episode will dive into how heart-related deaths and health issues are on the rise since the pandemic, the proposed Social Media (Anti-trolling) Bill announced by the government, the aviation industry opening again since lockdowns, how there’s a research gap in women’s sport, especially about menstrual cycles affecting women, looking at Australia’s election advertising laws focusing on Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party since the election was announced for May 21st.
