Melbourne’s Holi Festival:

This weekend is going to be colourful with the Melbourne Holi Festival making its debut in Birrarung Marr. The two-day festival celebrates the love of Radha and Krishna and also signifies the triumph of good over evil. The festival will start at 12.30pm and there will be food stalls and other vendors on the day. The event is free to attend but registration is required. You can register here.

Yarraville Festival:

The Yarraville Festival is back this weekend for its 40th edition. Yarraville Railways Goods Yards will be taken over on March the 28th filled with a day of over 70 market stalls, entertainment and a dog fashion parade and talent show. The festival will run from 10am to 6pm but will have covid measures in practice. Visit the Yarraville Festival website for more detail.

Car Shows:

The Status Seasonal car show is back for a third time this weekend on Saturday 27 March from 3-8pm. The venue will be at 82-92 Nelson Pl, Williamstown VIC 3016. Tickets and vehicle applications can be found on their website. Bring your cars, bring your friends and enjoy the company of fellow enthusiasts for this jam-packed weekend.

Weekend Sports:

The Cats will take on the Lions at GMHBA stadium on Friday night, after both top-tier teams suffered major upsets in round one. Geelong will make four changes to the side, including one debutant, with Patrick Dangerfield missing the first of his three-game suspension. This match can be seen on 7mate, Fox Footy and Kayo.
The Dogs will play the Eagles in a blockbuster matchup at Marvel Stadium this Sunday. Both teams will be trying to continue their win streak from round one, as they look for a comfortable spot in the top 8. This match can be seen on Fox Footy and Kayo.
