The Ag – Episode One

In the latest episode of The Ag, presented by our hosts Mack Henderson and Maddie McVeigh, our field reporters cover the top stories across La Trobe University and the broader community.

This week, Jordan Moll spoke to LTU Podcasting lecturer Dr Merran Williams about how the university is shaping the next generation of podcasters. Anthea Stathopoulos looked into the Socialist Club at LTU and speaks to senior lecturer in politics Nicholas Barry to find out what it means to be a socialist.

The Kingsbury Drive Market is hosted every Sunday at LTU, holding a wide variety of small businesses and food stalls. Nick Krikas went down there to find out more about the local market.

Romantic relationships are a key part of the university experience for many students. Psychology lecturer Dr Ben Lam is leading a study looking at modern student relationships. Mack Henderson sat down with him to find out more about his study and what is changing in relationships.

Jaspar Wilson-Keir and Maddie McVeigh investigated how to eat on a tight budget as a student. Finding the best options for a cheap feed at La Trobe, while also journeying to ‘The Heart of Carlton’ to find out more about their $5 menu.
