Description: Waleed Aly lectures at the Global Terrorism Research Centre at Monash University. He was a board member of the Islamic Council of Victoria for over four years, and is frequently sought for comment by media outlets across Australia on a broad range of issues relating to Islam and Western Muslims. He has contributed regularly to The Australian , The Australian Financial Review , The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age , and has been commended at both the Walkley and Quill Awards for his commentary.
