Billy Maulana

Billy Maulana graduated from La Trobe in 2007 with a degree in Media Studies and currently works as the publicist for Obese Records, Australia’s leading hip hop record label that released the platinum-selling, ARIA-winning Hilltop Hoods album The Hard Road. Currently working with noted artists like Drapht and Muph & Plutonic, he spend the days hassling MTV, Triple J and the general media for interviews, airplay, and attention. In between, he writes lots and lots of press releases, helps with A&R, and can occasionally be seen at the ARIAs drinking and eating all the free food.
