Australian film to be screened at prestigious international festival

Australian filmmaker Angie Black's film Birthday Girl will be screened before an eminent panel of international filmmakers.

Angie Black’s latest short film Birthday Girl has been selected for the prestigious “I’ve Seen Films” International Competition in Milan, Italy.

The film will be submitted to the International Jury, whose members includes Ridley Scott, Lech Majewski, Robert Rodriguez, Christopher Nolan, Anton Corbijn, Miranda Richardson, Paul Verhoeven, Teresa Cavina, and Rutger Hauer.

The film will be eligible to compete in the awards-assignment process, which includes the prestigious “20th Century Fox H. E. Best Short Film in Competition” Award.
