Daniel Connell

Daniel Connell, a 2008 Bachelor of Journalism graduate, is working as  Communications Officer for Country Fire Authority, the largest emergency services organisation in the country. Daniel’s job involves a large and diverse communications skill set, including, reputation management, acting as a media liaison, developing plans and techniques to handle issues and crises, forging links with potential partners, creating strong communications strategies that inform and influence audiences, professional writing and editing, event management and internal communications. He is receiving  high calibre training which is necessary in a job which, at times, can be very challenging.
