Internship opportunity in New York

If you've ever thought about working in New York, this could be the internship for you. The Australian Consulate General's Office is now accepting applications for their four month internship programs.

Ever thought of working in New York? The Australian Consulate General’s Office in New York (ACGNY) is currently accepting applications for their four month internship program. Young Australians have the opportunity to work within a Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade post whilst gaining firsthand experience in the field of foreign affairs.

The internships are suited to students from political, international relations, law or media and communications backgrounds. Tasks vary widely according to the needs of the Consulate and the academic background of the intern. Interns are provided with close supervision by a senior member of staff, regular performance reviews and the opportunity to work directly with the Consul General.

ACGNY internships are competitive as they seek intelligent, articulate young leaders to serve as ambassadors for their institution and Australia, so apply now at the ACGNY website.
