Description: The guest lecturer in this Screen Criticism class is La Trobe graduate and freelance journalist Luke Buckmaster. As he puts it in his blog, Luke has written about films since he hit puberty. He has experience in online, print, radio and TV and has contributed to publications such as The Age, The Sun Herald, Filmink Magazine and Urban Cinefile. He currently edits In Film Australia, an online magazine about Australian films. Career highlights include being called courageous by Germaine Greer and a “brain juice lacking monkey typewriter” by the first assistant camera operator of Superman Returns. He regrets nothing.
