The Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance (MEAA) and the Walkley Foundation are presenting their annual ‘Media Pass’ student industry days in May.

Media Pass days provide advice about applying for jobs, workshops led by professional journalists, and – of course – the opportunity to network.

This popular event is open to all journalism and media students, and while entry is free, registration is essential and places for workshops are offered on a first-come first-served basis.

The Melbourne Media Pass day will be held at Trades Hall on Thursday, 13 May. Full details here.

And a reminder that now’s also a good time to consider entering this year’s Student Journalism of the Year competition . Entries close on 3 May.
