The Melbourne Press Club has announced that entries are now open for its 2009 Siemens Award for Student Journalism.
The award has been established to promote and recognise excellence in Victorian student journalism.
The winner will be announced at a Melbourne Press Club function in November 2009, and will receive $2,000 cash, a week’s work experience at The Age and two free tickets to the Quill Awards dinner in March.
The competition is open to all work which has been published or broadcast in Victoria (at a recognised publication) between July 1, 2008 and 30 June, 2009.
The competition closes on October 9, 2009.
