Student journalists are being invited to apply for the opportunity to work inside the pressroom of the 63rd Annual United Nations Department of Public Information/Non-Governmental Organisation Conference.

The conference, titled Advance Global Health: Achieve the Millennium Development Goals, is running from 30 August- 1 September at The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Representatives from 2,000 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) from across the world, UN and government officials, along with health institutions and academics, will be discussing global health and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.

Fifteen student journalists (18 – 24 years of age) will be selected and given media credentials to cover the meeting.

Applicants must fill out the form by July 23.

Successful applicants will  be notified shortly afterwards.
