Young people are being offered the opportunity to represent their peers on the influential Australian Youth Forum.
Established in 2008, the forum acts as a formal communication channel between the Australian Government, young people aged 15-24 and the youth sector.
The Youth Minister, Peter Garrett, says applications are now being taken for a place on the forum in 2012.
‘Not only will members be providing advice to government, they will be devising ways of involving young people who face particular obstacles to participation,’ he says.
Applications close on October 31. More information can be found here.
