SBS journalism cadetship

An opportunity for journalism graduates to join the SBS news and current affairs team.

SBS is advertising positions for two cadet journalists to join its news and current affairs team in 2012.

The successful applicant will be based in the SBS newsroom in Sydney (with a round of placements in Melbourne and Canberra), and will be trained across radio, television and online.

You must have a good general knowledge of local and international news and current affairs and be familiar with SBS News and Current Affairs programs.

The cadetship is offered for one year with no guarantee of ongoing employment. However, a cadet who successfully completes the one-year program will be considered for any vacancies within SBS News and Current Affairs at the end of the cadetship program.

Applications must be received by 5pm on Friday 30 September 2011.
