The emerging musician: Steven Theochari

Steven Theochari is a singer and songwriter determined to make it in the music industry. Meet Steven in this short doc by Kathleen O'Connor and Jarrah Gillies.

Anyone can tell you Melbourne is renowned for its live music scene, as everyone and their grandma are in a band. With such a crowded live music scene and so many bands competing for fans, what does it take to thrive as a musician?

We introduce Steven Theochari, a local singer and songwriter determined to make it in the music industry. This young musician covers many popular, well-known songs but also writes a number of original pieces. Getting inside the mind of this talented young man will give us insight into what it means to strive for something you’re passionate about — something you couldn’t live without. Better yet, we get a look into what makes this artist tick and what made him the man he is.
