Now, be honest: how many of us can really remember what we were doing three months ago?” I know, it sounds like an absolute eternity. Some of you have since completed assignments or articles, been skiing, or even read a newspaper. Editor Erdem Koc has aged considerably: he was merely 21 back in those early upstart days (he’s a much more mature 22 year-old now).
Here at upstart we were planning a major retropective of our achievements, but as it turns out, nobody can recall where the last quarter of a year has gone, so now there’s some loose talk of a party early next month, should any of us still be around to celebrate it. We’ll keep you posted. After all, we never did quite have that launch party.
In the meantime, if you feel like trawling through the 130 items we’ve posted on line and sending us a note of congratulations, feel free. But we might not publish it. If you can remember what you were doing on 16 June, now that could be interesting.
