Would you like to enjoy nine days on the Great Ocean Road? Bicycle Victoria is looking for Volunteers for their 2009 Great Victorian Bike Ride® Media Team

Here are the details from Bicycle Victoria:

Where: Great Ocean Road (Portland-Geelong)

When: 28th November 2009 – 6th December 2009

(including pre-ride work; immediate start preferred)

Responsibilities:
The work which is involved pre-event with our on-ride newspaper and radio station. This involves scheduling, layouts, sourcing stories, contacting community members, editing, publishing, photography and much more.

On the Great Victorian Bike Ride, you will be able to interview riders, volunteers and communities to create interesting stories, produce and distribute the daily newsletter and produce the daily radio program.

Working on this project offers students a chance to design our daily newspaper, investigate and write stories, create an informative and entertaining radio program and much more.
