Bare Witness benefit night

Come and support the journalists in East Timor tonight by attending a special benefit and mutli-media performance exploring the issues foreign correspondents face in times of war.

Set in the Balkans, East Timor and Iraq, Bare Witness is a multi-media performance exploring the bond that war journalists share.

Several years in the making, the play combines contemporary photojournalism, music and live theatre by a five member cast.

The Dart Centre Australasia is holding a fundraiser to benefit the journalists of Timor Leste with the performance of Mari Lourey’s Bare Witness. It will be followed by a Q and A with the cast, Walkley Award winner Thom Cookes and journalist Jorge de Araujo will also join the discussion moderated by Gary Tippet.

The benefit will be held at fortyfivedownstairs tonight (Friday) at 7:15 (for a 7:30 start), tickets are $40 and can be booked by clicking here, but hurry seats are limited.
