Hawkesbury Newspapers, part of Fairfax Media, are seeking a cadet sports journalist to join their team in Richmond, on the outskirts of Sydney.
The position involves weekly production of an 8-page sports section in the Hawkesbury Gazette and a 2-page sports section in the Hawkesbury Courier. The position involves some weekend work.
Applicants must have a tertiary-level journalism qualification, extensive sports knowledge, strong writing skills and the ability to source stories.
Familiarity with or residence in the Hawkesbury region would be an advantage.
