Editorial traineeships at The Age

Touch-up your resume and start planning your 500-word autobiographical piece because applications are now open for 'The Age's' 2011 traineeship progam.

Applications are now open for The Age’s one-year editorial traineeship program, commencing in September 2011.

The daily Melbourne newspaper is seeking highly motivated and creative self-starters with an interest in creating content in the areas of breaking news, investigations and multimedia packages. Demonstrated skills in web-based and social media research are also desirable.

As in previous years, applicants are asked to apply online, listing education and work details, and submit a resume and 500-word autobiographical piece.

Applications close 13 June 2011 and all candidates will be contacted during the month.  Only those who are successful in the first round will be invited for telephone interviews.
