Star News Group is seeking a casual sports journalist.

The employee will be primarily responsible for writing sports reports, as well as other assignments under the direction of the sports editor.

The employee will also be expected to initiate stories covering sport in the north west of Melbourne.

The paid position will suit a university graduate with a keen interest in sport. Football and cricket knowledge is essential.

Weekend work will be required.
